Design Partner Program · US ↔ EU

Build the cross-border
marketplace with us.

Shape it now. Sell first when we open.

We're bringing on a small group of US ↔ EU brands and sellers as design partners. You help shape how trust gets built into the marketplace, and you're first in line to sell on it. No cost, no lock-in, just a real seat at the table.

Two hands reaching to meet over the globe, the US and EU connected by a glowing corridor
Two Sides · One Trust · One Border

A seat for the right few.

We're keeping the first group small and deliberate, so every partner actually shapes the product. Here's who fits.

This is for you if
  • You're a US brand not yet selling in the EU, or an EU brand not yet reaching US buyers.
  • You sell unique or proven products buyers struggle to get on the other side of the border.
  • You've felt cross-border break, surprise duties, refused deliveries, returns that cost more than the product.
  • You want a say in how the tools you'll use are built, not just another platform handed to you.
This probably isn't, yet
  • You only sell domestically and have no plans to cross a border.
  • You want a finished, at-scale marketplace today rather than to help shape an early one.
  • You're looking for a quick paid pilot rather than a real working relationship.
  • Cross-border isn't a priority for your business this year.

Collaborate now. Sell first when we open.

A design partnership isn't a contract you sign and forget. It's a relationship that grows into selling on the marketplace.

01
Now · Shape
We build it together

We learn how your cross-border orders really work, where they break, and what would have to be true for you to expand with confidence. Your reality shapes what we build.

02
Next · Pilot
You test it live

As each trust layer comes online, pricing, customs, delivery, returns, protection, you're among the first to run real orders through it and tell us what holds and what doesn't.

03
Then · Sell
You sell first

When the marketplace opens, design partners are first to list, with founding-partner terms and a product already shaped around how you actually sell.

A fair trade, both ways.

What we ask

A bit of your real experience.

  • A few honest conversations about how cross-border works for you today.
  • Occasional feedback as trust layers go live, what works, what's missing.
  • A willingness to run a real order or two when the time is right.
  • Candor. We'd rather hear what's broken than what's polite.
What you get

A marketplace built around you.

  • Direct line to the founder, your input shapes the roadmap.
  • First access to sell when the marketplace opens, with founding-partner terms.
  • A trust-first way into a market you've been hesitant to enter.
  • No cost and no lock-in. You're a partner, not a customer being sold to.

Why brands sign up, plainly.

The honest answers to what you're probably already wondering. No fine print, no spin.

Why should my brand sign up? +

Because you reach a market you've been avoiding, without taking on the part that makes cross-border scary. Most brands don't skip the US or EU because they don't want the customers. They skip it because customs, duties, returns, and delivery risk make it feel like more trouble than it's worth. GlobeCart handles that layer for you, so expanding stops being a gamble.

What you get with us

  • A new market (US or EU) without the operational headache
  • Keep 8–12% instead of losing 25–35% to the big platforms
  • One platform that owns the outcome, not five tools you stitch together
  • Your brand stays yours, a branded storefront, not a faceless listing

What current platforms don't give you

  • They solve discovery, almost none solve trust
  • No upfront landed cost, you learn your real margin too late
  • The seller carries all the cross-border risk alone
  • Buyer-biased disputes and returns you can't get back
What exactly do I get as an early design partner? +

A direct line to the founder and real influence over what gets built, founding-partner terms when the marketplace opens, first access to sell into the corridor, and a trust-first way into a market you've been hesitant to enter. No cost and no lock-in. You're a partner shaping the product, not a customer being sold to.

Will I get a flood of buyers on day one? +

No, and I won't pretend otherwise. We're pre-launch. What I'm offering right now is a front-row seat to shape the platform, the best terms as a first partner, and first-mover position when we open. I'd rather under-promise and earn your trust than inflate numbers I can't yet deliver. The buyers come because of distinctive brands like yours, that's the whole model.

How is this different from Amazon, Alibaba, or doing it myself? +

Amazon and Alibaba solve discovery. Very few solve trust, which is the part that actually breaks cross-border. On those platforms you carry the risk yourself and pay 25–35% for it. Doing it yourself means duct-taping a store, a carrier, a customs broker, and a returns workaround, five moving parts and no one accountable when something goes wrong. GlobeCart is one marketplace that owns the whole journey, for 8–12%.

What does it cost, and is my brand protected? +

Joining as a design partner is free, with no obligation to sell later. When the marketplace opens, pricing is 8–12% all-in per transaction (vs 25–35% on the big platforms), across Starter, Growth, and Brand tiers. Your brand relationship stays yours through a branded storefront, and every transaction is protected for both sides, not weighted against the seller.

What about returns, the thing that usually kills cross-border margin? +

Returns are built into the platform as a structured, scenario-based system, not a margin drain you manage alone. Each return is routed by what actually happened (changed mind, damage, or fraud), with evidence-based resolution so you're not refunding blindly or eating both-way shipping by default. It's designed to protect your margin, not quietly erode it.

What do I actually have to do right now? +

Very little, and that's intentional. A few honest conversations about how cross-border works for you today, occasional feedback as layers go live, and a willingness to run a real order or two when the time is right. We keep it light, a few focused conversations, not a second job.

A few promises.

i.
Your time is respected.

We keep it light. A few focused conversations, not a second job. We come prepared and we follow up.

ii.
Your business stays yours.

Nothing you share is used against you, resold, or made public without your say. This is a working relationship, not a data grab.

iii.
No pressure to sell.

Becoming a design partner doesn't obligate you to anything. If it's a fit when we open, great. If not, no hard feelings.

iv.
You'll see it before anyone.

Partners get the first look at every layer as it's built, and a real say in what gets built next.

"I'm not looking for logos to put on a slide. I'm looking for a handful of brands and sellers who feel the cross-border problem as sharply as I do, and who want to help fix it from the inside. If that's you, I'd genuinely like to build this with you."
